FF7 Remake Intergrade Releases a Final Trailer
The new trailer shows a Fort Condor minigame, Weiss, Nero, Scarlet, and more.

In just over a month the wait for Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade (it's quite a mouthful) will be upon us. It will tell the tale of Yuffi Kisaragi (a character who I had to grow to love as a kid but now would feel wrong if she was absent) and her partner Sonon Kusakabe and their time in Midgar. I know that FFVII is 24 years old at this point, but I don't want to give any more away than that in case somebody is experiencing this for the first time.
In the trailer we get to see a few new faces and some that I wasn't expecting to see. Two that were a surprise was Weiss and Nero (from Dirge of Cerberus). It will be interesting to see how their storylines tie into the game because we normally don't learn about either of them until three years after Final Fantasy VII ends. I do like to see Square Enix bringing in characters who some might have not had a chance to meet unless they played some of the other parts of the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII. We also get to see Scarlet, the Head of Weapons Development for Shinra, as well as a new summon for Ramuh in all his electrifying glory.
A welcome addition that we see as well is the Fort Condor minigame. There were some rumors that this wasn't going to make it into the remake and while this doesn't seem to include the whole story of Fort Condor with it (at least at first glance), players will get to enjoy the minigame. The best way to describe it is a tower defense game. But we'll have to wait and see if there are any new updates to the game besides just visual ones.
I'm sure people are very excited for Intergrade and it comes out relatively soon to Playstation 5 on June 10. Square Enix has also said that it will be exclusive to PS5 "for at least six months ealier than any other format" which is a bit of a bummer for those without a PS5.
